The Hard Work

A legacy of word, work, and zero waste.
José Francisco "Paco" Fernández started as a field worker, clearing plantations and removing the bananas that major exporters rejected for being "imperfect".
Without formal education, Paco found in the fields the tool to support his family. His ultimate vision was to ensure his children had a different future.
Seeing thousands of discarded bananas, Paco refused to call fruit full of life "waste." Where commercial standards saw aesthetic rejection, he saw pure food and nutrients.
Guided purely by intuition, Paco built artisanal ovens. Through trial and error, he successfully dehydrated the fruit, extending its shelf life and pioneering a new method.
A major exporter tasted the dried banana and declared:
The company was born, built on quality and Paco's unbreakable word.
After the unexpected passing of the founder, the second generation faced a crossroads: close the company or assume the immense challenge of leading it.
Despite having no formal contract, a key client paid for eight containers in advance, based solely on the respect and reputation Paco had built over his lifetime.
Driven by honor, the second generation put on their boots and went down to the plantations. They learned the processes from the ground up, falling in love with the zero-waste philosophy.
The rustic company evolved. We incorporated world-class technology and international quality certifications to compete in the elite global markets.
Today, that rebellious intuition applies to a wide portfolio of processed fruits. We export innovation, traceability, and sustainability turned into food.
Pacu is our sister brand for ready-to-eat fruit snacks made from the same mission: real fruit, no drama, nothing wasted.
